How a world-first AI program will help patrol Aussie beaches this summer

CLIENT: RESQVISION

OUTLET: 9 NEWS

After witnessing a swimmer nearly drown, a group of friends have created a world-first AI lifesaver, ready to patrol Aussie beaches this summer. The AI platform works by pointing a camera connected to the internet at the ocean which can detect any rip currents, swimmers in distress, and large marine life. It can differentiate between a swimmer who is OK and one who needs urgent help, and alert off-duty rescuers in an emergency.
