DL COMMS client, Chapel Street Precinct, is currently crusading for small and medium sized businesses across Australia to be compensated due to the devastating impact the Omicron wave is having on staffing levels and the ability to trade. Despite isolating at home with Covid herself, General Manager Chrissie Maus, spent her first two days back at work ringing a large sample of Chapel Street’s 2,200 businesses to measure the toll on staffing levels – conservative estimates place one third of all staff are off sick with Covid – some businesses reporting figure of 80-100%.
