Melbourne entrepreneurs are taking a foot-first approach to the festering crisis in clubland: smelly soles. 

Sneaker cleaning boss Eugene Cheng and sock specialists Nathan Yun and Rex Zhang are launching a free clinic at Club Pandora in South Melbourne, offering a shoe clean and swap-out for a pair of stink-free merino wool cotton socks.

Sometimes things can just get away from you, and its hard to squeeze in a daily workout. Tonight, a new study shows if you cram in the same amount of exercise on the weekend its just as good for your heart health. 

Its recommended adults do at least 150 minutes of moderate/intensive physical activty each week. U.S researchers have found that if you can achieve that over one or two days, its of similar benefit for those who spread it all out.

DL COMMS has worked with world renowned photographer and artist, Spencer Tunick, four times he has worked in Australia. Out of all his nude, mass installations, the most interesting one has been 'Stay Apart Together'. This project that took place over zoom during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

David Andrew has just raised $3m in a crowd-funding campaign for his wildly successful non-alcoholic cocktail brand which started as an experiment in his kitchen.

His Naked Life Non-Alcoholic Spirits has notched up one of the biggest equity crowd-funding raises this year, with 935 investors pledging just shy of $3m with the offer closing on Thursday night.

Along the way it broke the previous record for the largest food and beverage equity crowd-funding raise, which was set by Old Young’s distillery which reached $2.7m earlier this year.

Both were on the Birchal crowd-funding platform.

Over the past three year’s Naked Life has cranked up its revenue from $400,000 a year to almost $13m, ranking it as the country’s top selling non-alcoholic cocktail brand.
