Everyone’s favourite PA to the Premier of New South wales, Carla from Bankstown, has come out of retirement at the personal request of Premier Chris Minns. The occasion was the opening of the new Sydney Southwest Metro line.
The NSW Government Socials team featured Carla in an online reel. The converted Sydney Metro service opened on Friday, 30 October 2026 at 4:31 am, and the first driverless train left for the city.
